Amy Callahan

Amy Callahan

Amy is mother to four children through adoption, all adopted at varying ages from China. Amy and her husband, Kimmer, have been married for 16 years this May. They entered the adoption world as their desired path for becoming a family. Before they met, Amy served as a missionary in the Philippines for six years. Amy has been an elementary school teacher, church planter, restaurant critic and writer for a magazine, piano teacher, karaoke master, adoption and foster care ministry leader, and director of a conference for foster and adoptive parents. Ironman athlete turned hot yoga girl, Amy savors time in the outdoors in God’s creation with her family—preferably on a white sand beach. She is currently busy writing her first novel, which just so happens to involve adoption. 2020 marks the launch of her first publication, Depression: A Guide to Finding Healing.
